Corporate Design

The four ErUM Research Priority Programs at the LHC and the LHC-ErUM-FSP Office developed a joint corporate design in 2021. Inspired by the search for the unknown in the universe, the modern color scheme and the new logo are intended to accentuate the joint work of the ErUM Research Priority Programs and unify what they present to the outside world.

Logos of FSPs ALICE, ATLAS, CMS and LHCb

Logo

The primary logo is made up of a signet and the lettering "FSP - Exploration of the Universe and Matter". These should be used together whenever possible. Each FSP has an additional logo with its own experiment name so that the individual ErUM Research Priority Programs also have their own appearance.

Other variations of the logo can be found in the short version "FSP ErUM", as well as the logos in black and white.

Colors

Our colors are inspired by the idea of the "universe" and the "unknown". Black constitutes an important component and can be found not only in fonts but also as a striking background color in the corporate design. Universe Black is combined with a vibrant shade of violet, defined as Mystery Violet. The color scheme is complemented by Dust Grey and Star White.

All four colors are suitable for use as background colors as well as for illustrations and graphic elements (e.g. UI, infographics). Texts are usually set in black on a light background and in white on a dark background. Mystery Violet can be used for setting highlights as well as for illustrations, UI elements and other eye-catchers.
